On 1 November, the Moscow Court of Arbitration held a hearing on the petition of the Russian registrar, closed-end JSC “Regionalniy Setevoi Informatsionniy Tsentr” (RU-Center), against the decision of the RF Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
As previously reported, on 1 July 2011 the FAS commission recognized CJSC “RSITS” guilty of violating the antitrust law.
The FAS also ruled to obligate the CJSC “RSITS” to transfer illegal income in the amount of 239,360,212 Rubles to the RF budget. The decision of the FAS commission is posted on the website of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
The registrar, Ru-Center, disagreed with this decision and appealed to the Moscow Court of Arbitration with a petition to revoke it. The Moscow Court of Arbitration, having examined all the circumstances of the case, granted the petition of CJSC “RSITS” and overturned the FAS decision.
