In compliance with CC Board’s decision of 30 May 2011, the Terms and Conditions of Domain Names Registration in IDN TLD РФ, the Terms and Conditions of Domain Names Registration in TLD RU and the Accreditation Agreement were amended. The amendments come into effect from 1 July 2011. The amendments are introduced in the Terms and Conditions and in the Agreement in order to bring these documents in line with the Federal Law “On Personal Data.”
Currently the ad-hoc group under Coordination Center for TLD RU on introduction of amendments in the Terms and Conditions of Domain Names Registration in domains RU and РФ, is working on unification of these documents. It is envisaged that the Terms and Conditions will become uniform for both top level domains RU and РФ. The unified terms and conditions will be submitted to the Board in fall 2011.
