On 7 April 2010, the Coordination Center’s Board held its regular meeting. At the meeting, the Board approved the CC’s 2010 annual report submitted by its director, Andrey Kolesnikov. The report is available on the CC’s homepage.
Alexander Panov, managing partner of the Hosting Community group of companies and the current General Director of JSC “RSITS”, admitted multiple violations of the “Terms and Conditions of Domain Names Registration in IDN TLD .РФ” and the “Accreditation Agreement” by the JSC “RSITS” and ANO “RSITS” at the launch of the open domain names registration in IDN TLD .РФ.
Mr. Panov addressed the Board members with proposals to remedy the situation. The proposals were accepted by the majority vote.
Such a Board’s stance is fully in line with the Coordination Center’s mission- namely, protection of end-users’ interests.
