On 31 December 2010, the 700,000th domain name was registered in the national Cyrillic zone .РФ.
The pace of domain names registration in ccTLD .РФ has become steady. An average of 1,500 domain names is registered every day. As of 31 December 2011, the share of delegated, i.e. operating domains, accounted for more than 50% of their total number, or 354, 000-plus domains. So, ccTLD .РФ enjoys demand and the number of Russian companies using it in their daily operations is on the upsurge from day to day.
