For the first 24 hours of the open registration period as many as 240,040 domain names have been registered in ccTLD .РФ. As of 12AM 12 November 2010, 258, 431 domain names were registered in ccTLD .РФ. Thus, just in 24 hours of the open registration period ccTLD .РФ has joined 20 major European top-level domains and has outran such a technologically advanced country as Finland by the number of registered domains.
