DN Journal publishes this year’s last ranking of major domain deals

DN Journal has published this year’s last edition of its rating of major domain transactions that were made public. The ranking is renewed biweekly, with the current edition covering the period between December 8 and 21. The next issue is to be released in 2026.

Even amidst Christmas and New Year preparations the domain market has not slowed down: as much as two seven-digit transactions were registered at a time. The sale of Anything.com domain names for $2 million was the leader, with the sale of the Skins.com domain for $1,459,450 placing second. Third place was claimed by another .com domain, with SERP.com selling for $210,000.

The largest transaction in ccTLDs was the sale of Leo.ai in Anguilla’s national domain zone for $150,000 (4th place in the rating). Other domain zones delegated the domain name Lonestar.bet to the top ten in the ranking, which was purchased for $80,000, ranking 6th.

Although DN Journal is to sum up the 2025 outcomes later, even those cannot be deemed final: as per the rating rules transactions may be included retroactively if reported any time next year. But it is already evident that the year 2025 has been very busy: top nine out of 10 places in the latest edition of the annual ranking are taken by transactions worth $1 million and more.
