The Sedo domain trading platform has published the penultimate weekly report of this year. Between December 8 and 15, the platform completed 75 transactions: 38 involving domain names in the .COM gTLD, 27 in ccTLDs, and 10 in other domain zones. As usual, the Sedo report only includes transactions worth $2,000 or more, where the parties are not bound by a non-disclosure agreement.
The top three deals, as is often the case, involve leaders in each category. The domain name Ansor.com changed its owner for $56,482. The ACP.io domain in the ccTLD of the British Indian Ocean Territory was purchased for $25,000, while the Bitcoin.Talk domain changed hands for $18,888. When reporting the news, The Domains.com noted that the sale of Ansor.com was the only five-figure deal (worth $10,000 or more) involving a .COM domain name this week, which is a rare occurrence. Additionally, notable sales include the Ryze.it domain in Italy’s ccTLD for €13,000 (equivalent to $15,340 at the time of publication), as well as Alpen.org and Nolie.com, each sold for $9,000.
