Another top domain deals rating released

The DN Journal online resource unveiled its Top 20 Sales Chart rating survey listing the most expensive domain deals (on which open data is available), closed on November 10-23. Although the two previous weeks did not yield any record-breaking deals, the overall result is more than impressive. Ron Jackson who compiled the rating survey called the results phenomenal. In fact, he has never recorded over 60 five-figure deals worth $10,000 and more in two weeks. The Top 20 Sales Chart lists deals worth a staggering $2.6 million; on average, one domain name therefore cost $118,000 thus setting another record.

Nickel.com, sold for $325,000, tops the list, followed by Mayan.com worth $300,000. Five top-level domains (TLDs) made it into the top ten. However, representatives of national domain zones also posted good results. The remaining five positions went to TLDs in the British Indian Ocean Territory (.IO) and Anguilla (.AI). The MD.io domain netted $200,000 and the Intuitive.ai domain changed hands for $125,000 (third and fifth places, respectively).
