Sedo, a large domain marketplace, summed up last week’s results. According to The Domains, it was an exceptionally fruitful week: for the first time in a long time, the number of sales exceeded 90, including 54 in .COM, 33 in the country-code zones, and five for other gTLDs. Traditionally, the report only includes transactions worth $2,000 and above, where the parties are not bound by confidentiality obligations.
Last week also saw a six-number deal: Beside.com was sold for $150,000, topping the rankings in the past seven days. Other major deals with .COM names included the sale of Toonie.com for €70,000 ($82,583 at the exchange rate at the time of this week's results) and Betropolis.com for $24,995.
In the country-code domain zones, the best result was the sale of Kilo.co in Colombia's ccTLD for £19,950 ($26,853). Among other gTLDs, the largest deal was the sale of SVRN.net for $4,995.
