Domain Investing has reported a significant domain name transaction. The Super.xyz domain name was purchased for $287,607. The deal was closed on the Atom.com platform. The buyer’s identity has not been disclosed, and the domain has already been transferred to management by the registrar Safenames, which is popular among major corporate clients.
Contrary to earlier speculation, the seller was not Suza Yenugula, the Indian domain investor known as the .XYZ Queen for her many successful deals in the domain space. The domain was instead sold by investor Logan Flatt. According to NameBio data, this transaction represents the highest-value sale ever for the .XYZ generic top-level domain, exceeding the previous record set by the sale of Bull.xyz for $199,888 in October 2022 – a deal brokered by Suza Yenugula. Following the update of annual high-profile domain sales rankings on DN Journal, the sale of Super.xyz is set to claim 22nd place overall and second place in the Other Domain Zones category, unless even larger transactions are reported before then.
