Artificial intelligence against cybersquatting

NordStellar (Nord Security’s subsidiary), a company that protects brands from cybersquats, has expanded the range of its services. Domain Gang reports that it has developed a tool that uses artificial intelligence algorithms to identify domain names that are potentially similar to the client company's brand names.

If these domains are available, NordStellar can register them for protection thus preventing domains from falling into criminals’ hands and being abused. In addition to this, the artificial intelligence also monitors the registration of domains that are potentially similar to brand names in real time and immediately notifies clients about this. In this case, the company can quickly respond to a possible threat: for example, by filing a complaint against registered domain names under the Uniform Domain Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
