The domain market is definitely becoming revitalized. Two days ago, the media reported the sale of the domain name Double.com for $980,000. However, this result was surpassed yesterday when DN Journal announced GX.com changing hands for $1.2 million in the second seven-digit publicly reported domain deal this year. The first was the sale of the Commerce.com domain name for $2.2 million in mid-February.
At the moment, nothing is known about the buyer of the GX.com domain. Its new registrar is GoDaddy, but the registrant’s data is hidden by privacy settings. Domain market experts agree that the buyer may be pleased with the deal, as two-letter domain names under .COM are very expensive and rarely available for sale. The deal was concluded on the Sedo platform and, naturally, topped the chart of the largest domain deals of the week.
