DN Journal published its first 2025 ranking of the highest reported domain sales available to the public. It covers the period from Monday, January 6, to Sunday, January 19. The biggest deal of those two weeks was concluded on the Sedo domain trading platform. Pack.com was sold for $600,000.
The second place, and the top one among the ccTLDs, is held by the sale of 3D.ai in the Anguillan ccTLD. The well-known domain investor Andy Booth, one of the first to appreciate the prospects of the .AI domain, sold the domain name for $100,000.
Finally, the third place went to the leader of the “other domain zones” category. Seniors.org was purchased on the NameJet platform for $78,499. It is noteworthy that almost all other positions in the top twenty are taken by domain names in the general top-level domain .COM. The exception is the sale of the Awake.de domain in the national domain of Germany for €18,000 ($18,720 at the exchange rate at the time of the transaction).
