GGRG, a domain brokerage and consulting firm focused on liquid domains, together with Escrow.com and NameBio, have released the 33rd quarterly overview of transactions with what they call ‘liquid’ domains. This category traditionally includes 614,928 domain names consisting of two to five characters (letters or digits in various combinations) in gTLD .COM, which are considered the highest value domain assets.

As a result, the total volume of transactions with liquid domains amounted to $11,843,604, almost half of what it was in the second quarter, when the total volume of domain sales came close to $23 million.
As in the previous quarter, four-letter domain names showed the strongest results, accounting for over a third of the total at $4.27 million. The top-selling domains included Koko.com, which went for $1 million, Gosh.com ($450,000) and ASAP.com ($404,600).
