TLD Investors, based on the NameBio, summarized the results of transactions with names in new gTLDs in May. 236 transactions were registered over the last month of spring – it is 46 more than in April. The total amount of transactions was also higher: it amounted to $615,000, while in May it was $500,200. But the average transaction amount decreased slightly: $2,595 in May versus $2,633 in April.
The largest deal of the past month in new domains was the sale of QR.app on the TOP.DOMAINS. The domain was purchased for $79,499. The second position is for the domain name 0.wip, which changed its owner for $50,000 on the Afternic. Places three to five belong to representatives of the new gTLD .XYZ. The name Nudge.xyz sold for $39,888 (also Afternic), Interval.xyz sold for $34,299 (DAN.com), and Synthesis.xyz sold for $20,000 (private sale).
