The domain market was happy to see three extremely big purchases in less than a week. Information about the $400,000 acquisition of the domain name Betting.online emerged on Monday. The deal was a record in the history of the .ONLINE domain zone, as well as the largest in all new generic top-level domains over the past five years. The buyer was a business group that in 2017 purchased the Casino.online for more than $200,000.
And on Tuesday news came about even larger deals. Apex Moon completed a deal to sell the domain name PFA.com for $450,000. Just a few hours later, domain investor and entrepreneur Braden Pollock confirmed that his company Legal Brand Marketing had sold the premium domain name Socrates.com for $600,000. The domain is already used for the website of a new infotainment platform created in September based on the Polygon blockchain. Users of the site can communicate with each other, participate in discussions of the most current topics, answer questions and get a chance to earn rewards in cryptocurrency. At the same time, the platform declares that it inspires users to “resist misinformation and think freely, contrary to the desire of social networks and authoritative media to control people.”
The deals were reported by DN Journal, whose rating of domain deals is one of the most authoritative in the industry. The next edition of the ranking will be released in a week, and all three mentioned transactions will likely claim the highest positions in it.
