Results of new gTLD name deals in July

TLD Investors has published the July results for new general top-level domain (gTLD) sales. The report uses NameBio’s sales data and, as usual, includes only information about transactions from public sources. The second month of the summer turned out to be more active than the first: in June there were 121 new gTLD name sales, compared to 189 in July. However, the average price per transaction decreased from $2,188 in June to $1,460 in July. But due to the larger number of transactions, July still slightly outperformed June in terms of total sales: $279,020 vs. $262,000.

The leader of the month was the domain name BC.xyz, which sold for $110,000, followed by the Property.app domain deal for $25,000. Both transactions took place on the DAN.com site. In third place was Wow.art, purchased for $10,000. It is worth noting that the "Queen of XYZ", Indian domain investor Swetha Yenugula, who has topped these monthly charts more than once, had to settle for a modest fourth place this time: she sold Stealth.one for $9,888.
