Entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced the launch of his new xAI project. Its goal is formulated very pompously: to "understand the true nature of the universe." In reality, we are talking about the development of advanced artificial intelligence algorithms that are designed to compete with OpenAI, Google and Microsoft products. It is noteworthy that a little over three months ago, in March of this year, Elon Musk, among many representatives of business, science and culture, signed a letter calling for the suspension of developments in the field of artificial intelligence until the protocols governing the security of its use. But, apparently, he changed his mind very quickly: in the same March, he registered the company X.AI.
The website of the new project has already been launched on the x.ai in the national domain of Anguilla. According to the Domain Gang, the first information about transactions with this domain name dates back to 2013, when it was purchased on the Sedo site for $3,000. Musk apparently purchased the domain in February of this year. The amount of the transaction is unknown, but there is no doubt that it was quite impressive.
