May Yielded To April In Terms Of The Number Of Transactions In New Domains, But Surpassed Them In Their Total Amount

TLD Investors, citing data from NameBio, published the results of name deals in new gTLDs in May. The month was not as successful in terms of the number of transactions as April: the number of purchases was 266 against 315 a month earlier. However, the average transaction amount has grown significantly: from $759 in April to $1,329 in May. As a result, the last month of spring noticeably surpassed its predecessor in terms of the total amount of transactions – $346,000 against $241,000.

A significant contribution to this success was made by the "queen of XYZ", the Indian domain investor Swetha Yenugula. It has once again confirmed its status as perhaps the most successful investor in new gTLDs. It was she who made all three of the largest sales in May. On May 4, Yenugula sold the domain name Clockwork.xyz for $79,888. And on May 22, she made two successful deals at once: the Marino.xyz domain was sold for $39,995, and the Nocturne.xyz domain for $34,995.
