lnvestor.com: Groundhog Day

The lnvestor.com was sold at NameJet for $7,250 on April 8. The sum is difficult to determine outstanding, but the event is remarkable in its own way. The fact is that the first letter of the domain name is not “I”, but “l”, so the name has no meaning - and no value either. Nevertheless, unlucky buyers have been purchasing this domain with enviable constancy for many years.

TLD Investors sarcastically named the current deal as "Groundhog Day" because exactly one year ago this domain was purchased for exactly the same amount. However, this is far from a record: the lnvestor.com was previously purchased for $33,333. In some measure, this incident led to the fact that the vast majority of domain trading platforms introduced the discovery of domain name records not in lowercase, but in capital letters only. And it was enough for the next applicant to make a single copy to see that he was dealing with the LNVESTOR.COM. But, apparently, this does not help either.
