Connect.com sold for $10 million

Well-known domain blogger George Kirikos reported another interesting discovery. He specializes in examining financial reports filed by companies with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, often finding in these documents information on the purchase of domain names that were not previously made public. To be true, some time ago, Kirikos went on a "strike", offended by the fact that information resources publish the results of his research without referring to himself: he announced that he would stop reporting new finds until the end of the year.

However, yesterday George Kirikos broke his promise, citing the importance of the information he found. After reviewing the report of the technology company Hubspot, he found out that in the second quarter of this year it acquired the Connect.com domain. More precisely, information about its purchase appeared in mid-April, but the amount of the transaction was not disclosed. Kirikos has now established that the company paid $10 million for the domain. This makes the deal the second largest since the start of the year, with the news a few days earlier that the NFTS.com domain changed hands for $15 million.
