The DNS Belgium Registry, which manages the Belgian ccTLD, has come up with a fun way to boost interest in the .BE domain. It has created a website where you can play "Domain Wordle". This is almost a complete analogue of recently the most popular word game: it takes 6 attempts to determine the hidden word of 5 letters. The only difference is that you need to guess not just words, but words that are registered names in the national domain of Belgium.
We have to admit, that in addition to the guaranteed pleasure – guessing words in Wordle is indeed a very exciting activity – there is some practical use in the game created by the Belgian registry. If a player enters a 5-letter word that is not a registered domain name in the .BE zone, the website reports this and does not count the attempt. Thus, the user can also receive information about free domain names.
