Sedo domain marketplace released its top search terms report for February 2022. The data indicate a stable interest of potential registrants in non-fungible tokens – NFT. Domain names containing this abbreviation have consistently topped the chart of most searched queries since September last year. The only exception was January 2022, when the NFT request moved to the second line. Apparently, not for long – NFT again tops the list in February, according to the Domain Name Wire resource.

The absence of the Meta search query in this list is noteworthy. In late summer and early autumn last year, the demand for domain names with this word was extremely high after the announcement of the rebranding of Facebook. In October and November 2021, the Meta search term ranked second in Sedo's "top ten". However, already in December it dropped to ninth place, and in the new year it completely disappeared from the list of the most popular ones. Apparently, domain investors have noticeably cooled off the idea of a metaverse - at least for now.
