The DN Journal resource reported on the largest deals in the second half of February

Resource DN Journal has presented a rating of the largest domain transactions concluded in the second half of February. For the current domain market, accustomed to transactions worth hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars, this period turned out to be relatively calm. Nevertheless, he brought his records. Topping the list was Drive.us, purchased for $99,999. And this is the largest deal in the history of the US national domain, delegated back in 1985. Of course, this refers only to transactions, information about which was published in the public domain, but it is worth recognizing that the .US domain is really not very popular among Americans: the country's residents prefer the .COM domain.

By the way, the second curious feature of the new issue of the DN Journal rating is connected with it: there is not a single domain in the .COM zone in the top three - a rather rare case. The second and third places were shared by two domains that changed owners for 60 thousand dollars. These are the Collab.org domain and the J.et domain name in the Ethiopian ccTLD. The .COM domain this time was content with only fourth place: it is occupied by a deal with the name WWV.com, acquired for 49,999 euros ($55,499 at the exchange rate at the time of the deal).
