DN Journal has presented a new update of its ranking of the largest domain sales of the year. The ranking is updated every two weeks, usually on Wednesdays, but this time the update was postponed until Friday because of Thanksgiving, which was celebrated on Thursday in the United States.
Overview.com, sold by investor Braden Pollock for $400,000, topped the list. The sale currently ranks 31st in this year's ranking. Binance.ae from the United Arab Emirates’ ccTLD, which changed its owner for $300,000, is in second place. It is also worth noting the success of .IO, the British Indian Ocean Territory’s ccTLD: three transactions with domains in this domain zone entered the top ten in the ranking of the past two weeks. The third place went to Mint.io, sold for $230,000; Factory.io ranked fifth ($88,000); and the seventh place went to Cap.io, sold for $55,000.
