Internet Commerce Association launches weekly UDRP case summary

The Internet Commerce Association (ICA), which represents the interests of domain investors, registrants, website developers and related companies, has announced the launch of a new service. Starting on August 23, the ICA will be offering a free weekly UDRP Case Summary Digest by email. In fact, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the National Arbitration Forum (NAF), two organizations that handle UDRP complaints, send out daily newsletters about new cases to their subscribers. However, most of them contain quite obvious, routine cases, which makes picking out the really important, illustrative cases a challenge.

The new ICA service will address this challenge, according to Online Domain. The newsletter is expected to prove helpful to UDRP practitioners, UDRP panelists, and domain name registrants. Mr. Ankur Raheja from India will be the service’s editor. He has practiced law for more than 15 years and specialized in domain disputes for more than 10. Ankur Raheja serves as an accredited UDRP panelist with ADNDRC (Hong Kong) and MFSD (Italy). He also worked as an arbitrator/panelist with the .IN Registry for many years. The ICA is sure that Ankur Raheja’s expertise will make the weekly UDRP summary an extremely valuable source of information.
