Anything.com sells two valuable domains

Anything.com is a domain investment company that buys and resells premium domain names, and quite successfully, as it seems: last week, within just a few hours, it was reported that the company had sold two extremely valuable domains. Blade.com was acquired by Blade, a company that offers private jet and helicopter services to residents of New York and nearby communities. The company is now preparing to be listed on the NASDAQ market. Until recently, the company already operates the FlyBlade.com domain name as its official website. Blade.com visitors are now being forwarded to FlyBlade.com, but it is very likely that the site will soon move to the shorter domain which also fully matches the company’s name.

Teams.com is not yet in use. Whois records show that it is associated with DNStination Inc, a proxy service operator owned by MarkMonitor. The company provides many services, including online brand name protection, to a number of major companies. It is currently unknown which of the MarkMonitor clients has bought Teams.com.

Domain Investing, which reported the news, contacted a representative from Anything.com, who confirmed the sale of both domains but declined to disclose the transaction amounts. According to experts, the market price of each of the domains must be at least $1 million. The Teams.com sale would have every chance of becoming the largest domain deal of the year if its details were disclosed. As it is, the top line is taken by Bullish.com sold for $1.08 million.
