Fanbase.com sold for $151,000

Last weekend, GoDaddy Auctions auctioned off domains whose registration had expired. Fanbase.com deserves special mention, with 29 potential buyers who placed 229 bids. The domain finally sold for $151,000, which makes it the 16th largest sale this year to date.

According to Domain Investing, this is the most expensive sale in the history of GoDaddy’s auctions.

Fanbase can refer to fans in the broadest sense of the word: fans of a sports team, a band, or a brand. So it is clear that Fanbase.com can be used by various companies or sold again for a good price. You can only feel sorry for its previous owner who forgot to renew the registration of such a valuable asset.
