IT.CO.UK sells for £187,200

Domain marketplace Sedo presented a report on last week's transactions. As per tradition, domain names in the .COM zone were in the greatest demand, with 61 of 83 transactions in the report. It is worth noting the purchase of melp.com and through.com. The former changed owners for $50,000, and the latter was sold for $35,500, according to The Domains.

However, the leader of the week was a domain name in the British ccTLD .UK. The domain it.co.uk was acquired for £187,200, or $242,106. Details on the buyer and seller are currently unknown. Still the purchase of it.co.uk is currently the sixth highest domain transaction of the year, information for which is available in open sources.
