German company OPAG GmbH, which specializes in wholesale coffee trade, has acquired domain name Kaffee.de (Kaffee stands for ‘coffee’ in German). Domain Name Wire reports that the deal was finalized on the Sedo trade platform and amounted to €200,000. Therefore, the name Kaffee.de has become the most expensive purchase in German ccTLD .DE since 2014 and is one of the ten most expensive names of this domain zone, at least taking into the account all deals information about which is accessible to the public.
Moreover, according to DNJournal statistics, Kaffee.de has become the most expensive purchase in all ccTLDs this year. It should also be noted that domain Kaffee.de has been sold on Sedo for the second time. Last time it was purchased on Sedo in 2014 and cost two times cheaper - €100,000.
