Registrars refuse to work with neo-Nazi website

The echo of the August 12 tragedy in the US has reached the domain space. Large clashes between white nationalists and their opponents shook Charlottesville, Virginia that day. The riots began when the city government decided to dismantle a monument to Confederate General Robert E. Lee, who fought to preserve slavery in the United States. During the clashes, James Alex Fields drove his car into the crowd of counter-protestors, killing Heather Heyer, 32, and injuring over 20 people.

On the next day, The Daily Stormer wrote an article on the events. In the US, the blog is called chauvinistic and neo-Nazi, and the title of the article does not contradict that: “Heather Heyer: Woman Killed in Road Rage Incident was a Fat, Childless 32-Year-Old Slut.”

Dailystormer.com was registered in 2013 via GoDaddy, and the registrar has not changed since then. However, GoDaddy is not pleased with such use of its domain names. The company wrote on Twitter that The Daily Stormer violated the terms of service, and it has 24 hours to move to another provider.

The creators of The Daily Stormer tried to switch to Google Domains, but they were refused service. As of now, the notorious website left for the Dark Net because no registrar company wants to deal with them anymore.
