Any user who wishes to receive a .РУС domain name can file an application and register the name he or she has chosen. More than 2,000 Russian and foreign companies and brands are already using .РУС. Statistics reveal a wide geography of Runet users. Although the majority of .РУС name buyers are predictably from Russia, there are also users from Belarus, Denmark, the United States, Switzerland, Israel, Luxemburg and other countries.
