Halle Berry wants her name back. Domain name

A famous actress and an Oscar winner Halle Berry is willing to obtain the domain name HalleBerry.com, reports DomainNameWire. Corresponding complaint has ben filed by the lawyers of the Hollywood star under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) with World Intellectual Property Organization. The outcome of the case is almost undoubted. Domain HalleBerry.com was registered by some company named Alberta Hod Rods together with dozens of other domains that use names of famous people. Earlier on Cameron Diaz, Ashley Judd, Sandra Bullock and Pamela Anderson obtained “their” domains from Alberta Hod Rods.

It is surprising that Hollywood celebrities of primary importance thought of the protection of their own names only now. Alberta Hod Rods managed many of its “star” domains for many years, as of HalleBerry.com, it was managed by the company for about ten years.
