The registry of .EU has published its report for Q3 2015. According to it, there were 3 854 530 domain names at the end of September. The number of new .EU registrations reached 207, 841 in Q3, but a net increase is only 4,578 names (without taking count of removed ones). Thus, it is possible to speak about the steady "pause" mode because the domain expansion was only 0,1%.
The average level of .EU registration extension is estimated at 77%. Germany, the Netherlands and France are in the leading positions at the number of the .EU domains. Iceland was happened to show the maximum increase in Q3: the number of .EU registered names increased at once by 40% here. Cyprus (32,4%) and Poland (7%) follow them. Speaking about the number of domains per capita, Malta remains the leadership: approximately 40 .EU names are for 100 inhabitants.
