The Corporation Service Company (CSC) specializing on business promotion strategy in the Internet presented the report on gTLD use for September, 2015. The document states the 50% increase of registration number in dot-brands, which are the main subject of CSC's interest, compared with August. At the same time, the report pays attention to use of all new domains. For example, its data shows that 5,340 new gTLDs, that is 15% more that a month ago, entered a list of 1 million most visited sites, according to Alexa Internet.
The data on registration number provided by CSC are quite similar to other sources. The leader of this parameter is .XYZ, where there are approximately 1 151 424 names. But CSC has its own assessment tool. It correlates total registration number in domain zone to number of the sites which are in Alexa Top. Looking at these data, we can't see .XYZ even in the the first ten domains. .MEDIA., TODAY, and .SEXY hold the leading positions in this alternative rating.
