Verisign presented top-10 most frequently used words in domain names registered in .COM and .NET (operated by Verisign) in August. It is interesting that .COM and .NET "hot tens" don't coincide among themselves. Speaking more precisely, there are only two coincidences: the word "Alphabet" and the name "Trump" entered in top-10 of both domain zones. That is certainly quite explainable. The popularity of Alphabet is connected with the fact that Google announced the creation of mega-holding with this name. As for billionaire Donald Trump, his name is very famous thanks to active campaign he conducts, achieving the U.S. presidential candidate promotion from Republican Party.
By the way, his lawyers have already paid attention to growth of registration number using Trump's name. They made a statement promising to take the most drastic and strict measures on blocking of such domains and created resources. They won't take into account whether these resources are used for Donald Trump's candidacy support or they were launched for criticism in his address.
