Lionel Messi makes a complaint against two domain names

The forward of Spanish Barcelona and Argentina national team Lionel Messi made a complaint against the owners of Messi.com and Lionelmessi.com domain names. It is worth explaining that Messi is one of the most outstanding contemporary players. Moreover, many football experts consider him to be the best one in the history of game, and fans call Lionel as a "Soccer God".

Both domains were used for fan pages of a popular soccer player in the recent past, however, in connection with the beginning of trial, access to them is now impossible. Messi.com domain name belongs to Lewis Jump from Britain, and his former owner, since 2008, was domain investor Andy Booth of the UK. It is interesting that he – also since 2008 – manages also the Lionelmessi.com domain name. Perhaps, Booth should try himself as a football scout: he obviously estimated Messi's talent before many others did.

Lionel Messi's complaint will be considered in the framework of UDRP. The reasons for Messi to address the complaint right now are unknown so far.
