New gTLDs .WORK, .CASA and .LGBT yesterday entered general availability phase. The first of them is aimed at a broad audience, because it involves the registration of any names, potentially related to issues of work. The word «casa» means «home» in Spanish and Italian, however, is well-known in English-speaking countries. It is assumed that the domain will primarily interest those who are involved in construction, renovation and interior design. As for the .LGBT domain, as you may guess, it is aimed at members of LGBT-community.
After the first day of general availability domain .WORK is the leader with 3833 names registered. 1235 registrations were made in domain zone .CASA and 404 in .LGBT. Moreover, today general availability opens in two more domains - .DELIVERY and .ENERGY.
