ICANN presented results of the third annual IANA Functions Customer Service Survey. The survey was conducted by an independent company Ebiquity, that does marketing research as part of its activity.
This year for the first time operators of the new gTLDs took part in the survey. Satisfaction rate of IANA functions was 87% on average. In general, 93% of respondents evaluated positively the work of the organization. Accuracy was named the main criteria of IANA quality as in previous studies. 98% of respondents were satisfied or extremely satisfied with this metric of IANA functions.
"We were very pleased with the high levels of satisfaction expressed in the survey”, said Elise Gerich, ICANN's Vice President. “Of course, there is always room for improvement.”
