Donuts keeps expanding its presence in the new gTLDs market quite actively or even aggressively. This was proven by the results of five private auctions between new gTLDs applicants that took place recently. In all five cases these were representatives of Donuts who celebrated the victory.
As a result the company now has rights to administer new domains .news, .golf, .casino, .school and .football. In many cases Donuts’ opponents were large companies such as Amazon, Uniregistry, Famous Four Media, Minds + Machines, however of all them in the end refused to continue the fight.
In such a way Donuts registry now controls 156 delegated new generic top-level domains and still continues to claim 99 that are close to be delegated soon.
