This amount, probably, does not amaze but it should be taken into account that yesterday Americans celebrated Thanksgiving Day and the preceding period is usually considered unsuited for business activity (trade is not taken into account here). Even the very name .CLICK refers rather to the category of too general and doesn't bind to anything. Finally, it should be noted that during the Sunrise phase trademark owners were not interested in the domain, this is why almost 4 thousand registrations is the result of one day.
Many domain investors posted on specialized webpages that the names they were planning to register in the domain .CLICK unexpectedly were already taken by more agile competitors. Also they suggest that .CLICK might repeat the success of .GURU domain, no one expected especially good results but its is one of the leaders by the number of registrations among all new gTLDs.
