ICANN corporation reported that IDN ccTLD of Armenia .հայ has successfully passed String Evaluation. The application for the IDN filed by Internet Society of Armenia became 35th to get ICANN’s approval.
Country code top-level domain in Armenian language will operate in parallel with already existing .AM domain. It is expected that domain .հայ will be delegated in the end of this year or at the beginning of the following 2015.
