Jon Schultz, the owner of Ebola.com, wants to sell the domain for a staggering $150,000. Schultz believes that’s a fair price, as the current website at that address, which contains general information about the virus, gets 5,000 page-views a day – a figure that is sure to rise as public concerns over Ebola grow.
According to Whois records, the domain name was first registered in 1997. Schultz purchased it in 2008 for $13,500. Jon Schultz owns many other disease-related domain names, including H1N1.com (popularly known as swine flu) and Birdflu.com.
