DomainHoldings – major domain broker – announced that sales transaction of luxury.estate domain is complete. Thus, there is a new record for new gTLDs: there were several domains that were on top before, including soccer.guru, each of them was sold for $12500.
Names of the buyer and seller haven’t been disclosed, however, according to Whois data, the seller is a citizen of Massachusetts and the buyer lives in Monaco. We can only envy perspicacity of the American: he registered luxury.estate on the fifth day of premium registration period in the new .estate domain zone and paid around $200. In less than two months he got more than $49,000 of net profit. This situation should be a great argument for domain investors - many of them are still wary of new gTLDs, believing that it is impossible to earn big money on them.
