Actress, model, singer and a socialite Paris Hilton has won yet another case she filed with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Last year her lawyers filed a complaint against the domain parishiltonpornvideos.com. Site under this domain name allowed visitors to view porn-clips featuring Hilton.
Considered the appeal, WIPO commission recognized the validity of Paris Hilton’s arguments and decided to transfer domain name to Hilton within ten days. Administrator of the domain can file a lawsuit to oppose the decision, however, observers find this turn of events very improbable.
This is ninth time Hilton files a complaint to WIPO against domains that use her name, and in all nine cases she managed to get disputed domains under her management. However, it is the first time we are talking about the domain that was spreading video of a bluntly pornographic nature.
