Microsoft filed a complaint at the National Arbitration Forum concerning the domain XBoxGiftCards.com. Domains like this one flood the net before the holidays, despite all efforts to combat them.
Consideration of the domain hasn’t yet taken place, but it is very probable that domain will be passed over to Microsoft, since the company owns all the trademark registrations for the “XBox” and domain name and trademark name in this case obviously coincide. However, two additional conditions have to be met for the pass over to take place – the owner of the domain has to have rights over it and it should have been used in bad faith.
