Two new gTLDs are delegated to the DNS root zone. These are .menu and .uno. What Box? is administrator of the first one and DotRegistry – of the second.
Domain .uno is addressed to the Spanish-speaking users, primarily to the citizens of South American countries. With regard to .menu, it is clear that this domain is of interest first of all for gastronomic and restaurant businesses and also for gourmets.
Registrar DotRegistry has already signed a partnership agreement with Go Daddy and announced prices for registration in the new domain zone. Annual registration will cost 49,99 USD and 199,99 USD a year if you buy “priority pre-registration”.
Thus, the current total of delegated new gTLDs reached a number of 34.
