Geographical top-level domain .ruhr has entered DNS root zone today. Regiodot, administrator of this domain, intends to use it as a domain of the region of Ruhr – the largest and the most industrialized German region with a population of about 8 million people. Regiodot is already taking preliminary registrations in the domain zone.
