The priority registration in the first new seven gTLDs, using English symbols, is on from today. These are .bike, .clothing, .guru, .holdings, .plumbing, .singles and .ventures domain zones, their administrator is the company Donuts.
Period of priority registration will come to an end on 24th of January. Throughout this period trademark owners included in Trademark Clearinghouse depositary can apply to register domain names in the corresponding gTLDs. This is not an automatic registration – it is possible that there will be several applicants for the same name. These domain names will be auctioned.
Until December 3rd Donuts is planning to open a period of priority registration in 7 more top-level domains.
