Trademark Clearinghouse expands possibilities for trademark owners

International trademark warehouse depositor Trademark Clearinghouse declared on introducing a new service with a name Abused DNL (Domain Name Label). What’s meant here is the domain names which contain trademark names or similar to them to confusion degree. Now trademarks owners can add up to 50 such domains similar to the names of their trademarks and registered by third parties with violation of trademarks owners rights to the Trademark Clearinghouse database.

To do so it is necessary to provide proof that corresponding domains registration was stated a cybersquatting fact by legal bodies or arbitrary board which solved the case in the frames of a Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution (UDPR) procedure. For domains whose destiny has been decided in court the price will be 200 USD, for those undertaken the UDPR procedure - 75 USD. The price of including each domain name into the Trademark Clearinghouse depositary in the frames of Abused DNL service is just 1 USD.
